Password securing a memory stick

  rondee 21:36 04 May 09

I want to secure a USB memory stick with a password.

I have tried
My computer > Protect > Filled in password details and hit ok.

It comes up.. “cannot protect folder”.

What am I doing wrong.?.
I would appreciate some help please.

It's normally recommended that you place encrypted files on the USB drive rather than have a password on the stick. However, there are programs you can buy which claim to do the job - here's an example
