Password prot'n of individual folders within XPPro

My workgroup has bought an enternal hard drive to back up our personal PC and Outlook files. I have created a folder for everyone (11 of us) and it occurs to me that we would all wish to password protect out own folders. Is this possible within Windows XP Professional?

click here I have been using this since it was Hide Folders XP (about 6/7 years). It is not free but Reliable and worth every penny. If your workgroup split the cost it would be very cost effective.

Rob6 08:34 18 Aug 09 lovely IT dept will not allow me to buy the 'hide folders' software recommended above. Another thought has occurred to me - I could create a drive per person on the external hard drive. Is it possible to password protect a drive??
