Q: "Is it possible to password protect a printer without setting up an account with next to no privileges? If not, does anyone know of a program such as TweakNow PowerPack Pro. that would allow this? This is a stand alone home workstation with little fingers that like to print to much."

A: "You don't need to setup an account with next to no privledges.

If you have Windows XP Pro just create another regular user account.

Then just don't setup the printer for them, A regular user can Not add printers to their profile without the admin giving them those specific rights.

You can also go to Printers in Faxes and right click on the printer, go to properties, and remove the Everyone andUsers group from the Security Tab, so if they do try to add the printer Access will be denied.

Good Luck."
