To partition or not

Hi, in lots of discussions, I read about partioning the HD. Mine has not been partitioned for the last 6 years, so can anyone convince me into why I should partition my HD's?

Why not tell us about your system? - It makes a BIG difference.

If you've had the PC for 6 years, quite possibly the drive is too small to make partitioning it practicable. In any case, unless you've got a problem, why would you want to mess with it?

Ah - I see from another post you have two 6Gb drives!

Don't bother with partitioning. Any benefit you might get, you've already got by having two drives. Any further splitting would be pointless.
