On a w98 comp with all the updates i have installed two partitions .Both are prim and one is hidden(ntfs) .On the first is w98 and i would like to put xppro on the hidden (dual boot)- the later does not have a drive letter .I also have loaded Boot Magic
All works ok up to now .
How do i load xp without dam to W98 OS/data?

Just boot from the XP CD and choose the empty partition to install to. Disable bootmagic as XP will give you the boot option anyway.

If you wish whichever is the active partition to be designated 'c'continue with Boot Magic;if you disable it and use XP's boot manager, I believe XP will be installed as 'd'.
