Can any one explain the purpose of a FAT partiton with EISA configuration on a Dell Dimension computer

Dunno about the Dell PC's but the Mhave three partitions on the hard disk. C and D are formatted in NTFS and E is formatted in FAT32. The partitions are listed as "C" BOOT ; "D" BACKUP ; "E" RECOVERY.
On the FAT32 "E" partition are the files needed for system recovery in conjunction with the recovery disc. There is a note in the Medion Info advising NOT to delete this "E" partition on the HDD or NO system recovery will be possible if ever needed.

Now where did that Mhave word come from? It was meant to read "Medion PC's have three partitions"

Press F12 when turn on your PC and you find that the PC Diagnostics are there..... hence the reason for the FAT partiton with EISA configuration (or hidden partition).....
