I have just realised after a couple of weeks that my Samsung NC250 plus netbook which cam ewith 25Gb hard drive, has the C drive as only about 30GB and the rest is on the D drive. Is this a mistake? If not, what can I do to make the C drive larger? It's already about half full. Thanks.

Download and install Easeus Partition Magic (Home edition free) - Easeus Use it to delete or shrink D: and increase C:. If you have any data on D: you will almost certainly be in danger of losing it so back up first to be sure that you still have it afterwards. I would also back up any important data on C: just to be on the safe side. Program is quite easy to use and virtually holds your hand as you go through it.

Just check before you do use it that your Windows installation is on C: and that is is not just a restore partition to be used if your computer has problems.

30Gb is fine for a system drive all you have to do is to remember to install new programs to the D drive by selecting custom install and change the program installations from the default C:\program folder to D:\

Its also possible to move the MY documents folder to the D:drive and all of your data, pictures, documents, music etc.

You should load your Programs and save your files to the other partition Using Custom Install to load programs
