Partial Uninstall of MS Office

  nigethecat 10:21 27 Oct 03

When trying to uninstall an old version (2000 SR1) of MS Office I'm left with about 50mb which I can't remove.

The wizard asks for the Sr disc 2 (which I no longer have) and then reverses itself

Any suggestions how I can free up this space ?

Get a hold of Disk 2 is my advice.. Or the only other way is to delete from windows explorer then you MUST edit and remove all entries from the Registry or you will have major issues.. I would strongly recommend that you do not play around in the registry as it is not for the faint hearted.. If you do BACK IT UP first.

put your office cd in the drive and search for a file called

run (double click) the file, this will effectively remove stubborn entries of office, then try to uninstall again,

good luck
