I had the following message prior to booting up XP :-

Parser Message

  VoG II 23:38 29 Jan 04

Was that the whole message?

Did it then boot up normally?

Anything installed just before this message appeared?

To return your "Search" button, click here

Its tricky as you have to make sure you get the "Local Machine" keys in the registry set right, and make sure there aren't duplicates in the "HKEY_CURRENT_USER" keys,as I didn't....grrrrr!....as windows refused to give it me back(each regedit needs reboot)dozens of times, until I checked via reg search(Ctrl + F,then typed the keys name.F3 searches)Click on My Computer in regedit,to collapse the keys before searching,or the search will only include the keys below the highlighted one.
