Paragon Drive Copy 8 SE: mag issue 138 Jan 07

  vikingcolumbus 08:06 16 Jan 07

Installed above program to Win95 OS

Tried to launch and got two messages:

1) C:\Program Files\.\.\.\exactimage.exe
" a device attached to the system is not
functioning "

2) " The BASELIB100.DLL is linked to missing
export SHELL32.DLL:SHGetFileInfoW.

I do have SHELL32.DLL file version 4.00.955

Anyone experience this?

Is there a solution?

I posted to Paragon's forum several days ago
but no responses.

O/S is a bit dated, could this be the problem.

Hi vikingcolombus,

Apologies for the mistake regarding the system requirements for Drive Copy. These things do slip through our rigorous proofing process occasionally.

I'm discussing with Paragon an opportunity to give another of their full programs away on the disc, so will be particularly attentive to the system requirements on the next occasion.

kind regards

Hello Richard,

Thank you,

It seems you were able to install it... does it offer the hance to make a bootable CD durint the process?

If so, you could install again and take the oportunity to make such a CD...

you could then boot from the CD and use the program.

Apologies if this doesn't work?
