Panda security and start up menu question

  charlton200 13:28 22 Dec 08

I have Panda security 2009. When I went to my startup menu in msconfig; I noticed 2 items ticked.
On investigation I found these belonged to Panda, and so I unticked them. The trouble is they always become re-ticked on restarting my PC.
I have read these items need to be running, they are: PAVXDWIN AND INICIO. How do i make them stay running?

Any ideas please?

Many thanks.

If you want them to be running then they need to be ticked - you untick if you want to stop them running. So leave them ticked.

Why is everything else un-ticked in there then? I have only 4 things ticked: the two mentioned and Roboform and Google Notifier, all the rest is un-ticked. I haven't altered nothing before.

The less ticked the better, and then your start up will be quicker. You should make sure that any firewall and antiVirus programs are ticked, but apart from that as long as you can boot up OK then leave the rest
