Panasonic Video editing

I have a Panasonic HDC-SD60 video camera. I am trying to transfer video to the pc to edit in Pinnacle. Before my recent filming I deleted all video on the camera. Now when I access the stream folder on the pc after putting the card in the card reader I get some old clips from a previous session (which I thought I had deleted) and only the last few clips from the latest film. All the clips from the latest filming appear when viewed on the camera OK. And none of the old clips are shown.

Try connecting the camera directly to the computer with cable supplied by Panasonic.

You may have a problem with an older version of card reader which cannot cope with the extremes of video transfer.
I had a similar problem which was resolved by employing the very latest card reader.

I use Panasonic's HD Writer software to transfer video to PC.

I tried using the cable. Same problem.

Yes. Using Panasonic HD Writer worked. Thanks
