Palm Calm shattered

I am running the latest version of Palm Desktop on WIN98 SE, and after exiting the app. I get a crash as follows: -----------------------------------------------
Windows 98 Version 4.10.2222 PALM.EXE caused fault #c0000005 in OLE32.dll at address 017f:65f0399e -----------------------------------------------
I have discovered that I have two versions of OLE32.dll on my computer. The later one seems to have appeared at the same time I installed IBM ViaVoice from the recent PA cover disc and is in a folder called VCM, the original is in windows/system

Has anyone had this problem and knows the fix?

Is it to do with the duplicate dll?

The Palm desktop runs fine and hotsync works fine - just this anoying blip almost everytime I exit it.

the IBM ViaVoice version of OLE32.dll is in system folder and the earlier version is in folder VCM. I have since uninstalled IBM VV but nothing has changed with regard to the dll files or the error which has reproduced itself exactley as before.

Can anyone help??

Got a reply from Palm Support.
Told to uninstall and clean the registry.
Reinstall and the problem goes away.
And it did.

Ever get the feeling you're talking to yourself!?
