After PC has been on and used for more than a couple of hours when I try to go to any website I get page not found error. I can not reload to bring it up but found by re-booting all is then working ok again. Even running Ccleaner does not help only by switching off does it bring it back to full working state.
Has anyone had this problem themselves or any ideas what could be the cause.

My system is Intel core duo with XP home and 1GB RAM.

this could be your ethernet card shutting down to save power. Go to device manager and select your network card then check for power management and take the tick out of let this device be switched off to save power.

Thanks for your suggestion. I have removed the tick and it has improved matters. Just a case of knowing what to look for.
