Page Not Available

My husband is having terrible trouble with his iinternet access. Suddenly, and for no apparent reason, he cannot access any web pages. He gets through to the ISP without any problems but every web page he tries to access comes up "Page not available". We have tried using an alternative browser (Opera), using an alternative ISP (pay as you go), changing the XP settings to Classic, scanning for viruses with two different checkers, and still no web pages. He has tried disabling his firewall without success (not ZoneAlarm). The telephone connection is OK because I am able to get through and bring up pages without problems. He has talked to his ISP technical people and they have failed to sort it. If anybody out there can help he would be very grateful. He uses XP. Rene.

My BT line problem had this affect.

See if there is a problem with your line.

I am using the same BT line for my machine so it can`t be that. Rene
