Packard Bell recovery disk

  bell6 20:05 07 Jun 10

Hope someone can help. I have a packard bell iXtreme MC H 2301 desktop. Unfortunately it picked up a virus and i need to recover it but i made no recovery disk and the built in recovery has been corrupted and wont work. Does anyone know where i can buy one of these disks from? I tried the PB site but no luck.
Thank You.

Not sure if this applies to dell machines or not.
But the coa sticker should be on the side of the computer with the windows keycode on it.
You can borrow a disc of a neighbor or friend as long as it is the same as what is on the COA sticker.Xp Home or whatever one it is.
Then you could do a system repair or a reformat and then add your own keycode.
Not sure how much dell will charge but if to much you have the alternative.

Already tried to borrow a disk but no one seems to have the one im after (surprise)! DIsks going to cost around £50 but it beats buying a nwew pc. Thanks for the help and advice.
