Packard Bell laptop - blue screen

Hi guys - hope you can help

when turning on my laptop i am faced with a blue screen stating:

a problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your comouter

technical information

***stop: 0x0000c1f5 (0x000000000,.........)

any help would be great

may be a memory problem, if you have two strips take one out to try with just one

PS did this happen after A windows Update? try tapping F5 as computer starts to see if it will go to Safe Mode. if it does try running restore to a older date
