Packard Bell blue Screen comes up

  Nuneatonian 15:08 29 Dec 07

I bought a Packard bell computer beginning of November. I am getting a blue screen coming up (someone told me this is a blue screen of death)
At the bottom of the screen
a message comes up
STOP 0x 0000005, 0x88C3FAFB, 0x9F21BBA4A8, 0x9F21B8A4 xxx HSXWCD2x sys - Address 8BC2FAFB base at 8BC1 F000, Date Stamp 45c36cf
What does all this mean.
I never had this problem at all with my old computer that I had 7 years. Don't know if this if this is common now with the new computers, all have I bought a bad computer, do I need to contact Currys where I bought it from.
I am not computer literate when it comes to codes and things.
Any help or advice out there. Have vista, prefer my old ME
