override message

  carrilina 19:17 19 Oct 03

While surfing the internet my computer screen went black with a blue square in the center with "Override" written on it. Now when I try to boot up, I get to the windows Me starting page and it stops. Could it be my processer has gone bad?
Thanks for any help

Can you get into safe mode? hit F5 continually whilst booting up.

There is a virus called "override" but symantec's anti-virus website doesn't have much to say about it click here
