overclocking a k6,500mhz?

i have got hold of a pc with the above cpu,(also 2 spare cpu,s)can it be clocked,i am quite happy with it all things considered,but wonder if there is more out there?thanks.peter.

I still use a k6-2-500! I tried overclocking it once to 550 but machine crashed on bootup.

I have one in a old working comp they do not like overclocking Heat problems

The difference between a K6-2 and a K6-3 is that the latter has it's own L2 cache. But what I've always wanted to know is, is there any difference between CPU L2 cache and MB L2 cache?

yes the first is on chip and it's faster than on mobo
