I am a fairly new pc owner & have heard the term over-clocking several times.I believe it relates to the cpu clock speed being increased to work faster.I am not asking because I wish to do this (staying well away from messing with my pc innards),just asking to try to improve my overall knowledge,so apologies in advance for this,or any future 'daft' questions.Read most posts with interest although I admit, most of it over my head.

p.s have already input in the search bar.
