i have a dg834pn router and a wireless laptop. my outlook emails send and receive perfectly on the pc but although i have set up the accounts exactly the same on my laptop it will not work and says the ports may be wrong. How can this be when they are the same as on the pc and that works fine. I am going away and need to take my laptop to access emails HELP!!!

I presume your Outlook that works is on a PC which is _wired_ to the router, but no longer has an analogue phone-line connection ?
I.e. it could still be emailing via your PC's internal dial-up modem.

Control Panel> Internet Options> Connections> Never Dial a Connection
should be set on both your PC and laptop.

Unless you will be using dial-up on your laptop when you are away?
