Outlook Express wont connect

  Frank-P 23:05 22 Mar 04

I have Outlook Express and IE6 running under XP with BT Internet Pay as you go. When opening IE6, the dial up connection dialogue appears as normal, and connects successfully. When opening outlook Express however, nothing happens. When Send/Recieve is clicked, it still does not initiate a connection dialogue box.
I cannot find any setting which might be suppressing the connection in Outlook Express. Can anybody help?

It looks is if Outlook express is not set as you default mail client. Try this.
Go into Control Panel and select 'Internet options, select the tab marked 'Programs' and in the drop down box next to 'E Mail' select Outlook Express.
If it stil does not connect post again.
