outlook express unsent items

i have outlook express, on windows 98. i tried to send an email to someones old address, needless to say the email failed to send. it now sits in the system and tries to send every time i use email. how can i delete it from the system. i dont know if it is linked but my broadband connection used to be on all the time, it now shuts down after evry visit to outlook express

this 'rogue' email should be in your 'outbox' - - just get in there and delete it.

Normally right clicking on the offending item should open a menu, just left click on the delete option and it should go into your deleted items folder and be harmless there until you empty your deleted items folder
