I use a signature in OE for all outgoing emails. I have been trying to update this without any success. When ever I try to edit the signature the update will not apply.

I removed the original signature and drew up a new one in Notepad and saved this so I could add it as the new signature.

Now when I send emails, I have two signatures, the original and the new one from Notepad.

I tried deleting them both from the Signature options without any success, and even went into the Registry to delete them.

Is there something else I should be doing to update my signature?

Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

Is the signature in Text or HTML format?

Do you use the Signature Tab in OE or just Insert Signature each time you send mail?

The signature is in HTML and is there as the default signature in the options.

I would thoroughly examine the HTML code, save it with a different name, and amend the OE location to point to the new name.

Got it solved, nothing to do with OE, Human error. It was me, some months ago I configured our email server to send a disclaimer with all outgoing emails from this site.
