Outlook Express Receipts

I have over the last couple of days been corresponding with a reliable organisation. There has been a window coming up requesting a receipt and a yes and no box. There is an attachment on the email with a txt. suffice. Is this the text to produce the request or is it a virus?
I have sent a mail back to myself and the attachment is on this mail as well.

The .txt file is not connected with the request receipt.

E-mails sometimes do contain .txt attachments but in view of the Mydoom virus I would not open it. What is it called?

The attachment is ATT00038.TXT 126byte

It is attached to the reciept.

And is almost certainly "safe". I would save the file in My Documents or wherever, scan it for viruses wiith an up-to-date scanner then open it. It probably contains a non-HTML version of the message. Some e-mail systems do that, annoyingly.
