Outlook Express Problems

  congletonchris 11:16 09 Aug 04

I am running on Windows 98SE and use Outlook Express version 6. Earlier this year I changed from Freeserve Anytime to Wanadoo broadband. I also updated OE 6 from the Windows update site. Now every time I try to open OE I get the message "Outlook Express could not be started because MSDERES.DLL coulkd not be found. OUtlook Express may not be installed correctly".
Any ideas on how I can correct this problem?

Check the spelling of that file congletonchris, there's no such file as "MSDERES.DLL" that I know of.

Reply to Maj,
Have rechecked and file is MSOERES.DLL. Does this help?

click here go here and download the missing file. It also tells you where to put the file. It's about 3/4's the way down the page. Good luck.
