Outlook Express problem

  Red Herring 17:04 23 May 03

I ahve tried sending a large file (stupid!) attachment and OE crashed. On relaunching, OE freezes and does not let me get into the outbox to delete the offendign item. I can;t even find where Windows sotres my outbox so I can delete it from there. Any help gratefully recieved. Thanks

which windows are you using?

I think it stores the attachment in a temp file, you might try going to Windows Explorer and doing a search for the file anf try deleting it from there.

.......thanks for suggestions. In the end I used Explorer to get to the 'Identities file' (butied with Applications Data to get to an Outlook folder that the revelaed all th email folders. I deleted 'Outbox', then fired OE up and all was OK! Let's hope this hasn't upset something else!
