Outlook Express Password Problem

Hi today for some reason when I check my emails in Outlook Express (8?) XP home edition sp2 I'm asked for my password - this is unusual, normally it opens without this. When I put in the password that was assigned to me by wanadoo I get a message that it is wrong?

The password is not wrong I've got the original paperwork from wanadoo and have checked my account via OE/tools/accounts and everything seems in order.

Can anyone enlighten me as to what has went wrong and how to resolve the problem so that I can access my emails.
