Outlook Express Folders?

  digf 17:08 09 Dec 07

A friend of mine has a problem with his Outlook Express. Sometimes when he clicks on a email to open it he receives a message which says "Folder (or folders) cannot be displayed. It then goes on to say that it may be caused by lack of memory yet he has approx 80 Gig hard drive, the majority of this is empty, and 1 Gig of RAM.
To get rid of the message he has to close Outlook Express and then re open it.
He is running XP and Int Exp 6
I've no idea what to do to help him and would appreciate any help.
