I'm getting a REALLY annoying box coming up every time I log into my email. I can send and recieve emails fine, but this has clearly gotten stuck.

Can somebody please help me with this?

Here's the info on the annoying box :

The message could not be sent because one of the recipients was rejected by the server. The rejected e-mail address was (the person's address I was sending to is here.)

Account: 'pop.ntlworld.com', Server: 'smtp.ntlworld.com', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: 550 Invalid recipient
Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 550, Error Number: 0x800CCC79

Thanks in advance!

Are you using Outlook Express?

Open Outlook Express, and click Tools
Then click on Accounts
Then click on your email connection and click Properties
Then click Advanced
On this screen remove the checks from the boxes This server requires a secure connection for both Outgoing mail (SMTP) and Incoming mail (POP3).

Thanks for those links and suggestions guys, I have checked the the "My server requires authentication" box and confirmed that my email address etc is correct.

But I'm still getting the box.

Any ideas, anyone?

OK everyone- really sorry to have pestered you all.

In the end I finally got through to my Broadband supplier on the phone - they quickly pointed out that I had an email stuck in my outbox which Express was trying to send everytime.
All I had to do was to delete it!

Cheers everyone.
