Outlook Express Disconnection

My connection to the internet via onetel, my ISP, proceeds in the normal way. Having checked for messages, it then tries to disconnect automatically, as set up to do so.What happens however, is that the following message appears:
'a Diallup Networking Connection Is Already Established. (The following options are presented to choose from) 1. Try to locate the server on the current connection. 2. Hang up and dial onetel.net (This latter option is preselected) Clicking on OK disconnects the modem and a Dial-Up Connection screen appears.

Any ideas why this happens ?

How can I stop it happening ?

Do you have multiple email accounts? If so, check the dialup settings for each one, make sure that they are all set to 'use current connection'.
