Can anyone explain to me how to create a new mail user in O/E.

I have gone to Tools/Accounts/Add and followed the wizard. The information was accepted and I still cannot use the secondary Identity.

My good lady is desperate for her own name email but to no avail.

According to NTL "webpage" I am able to create new accounts direct from O/E

Don't think so -if NTL haven't set you up a mailbox with the new name - then there isn't one - so you can't access it. Can you give the web page address for this (strange) advice please, and i will try and interpret it.

File, identity, add, ...

Identities are different users, accounts are the multiple accounts of one identity.

You must, of course, have a mail account set up already to connect to.

The usual choices are presented like POP3, servers etc..........

Don't add another identity unless you are absolutely sure this is what you want. You don't need another identity to have more than one email address - and seperate identities can be a real pain.
