I've never even looked into OE before tonight. I want to open an e-mail account for my wife and I'm stuck when I come to the page they want me to complete re the Incoming mail (POP3) server and Outgoing mail(SMTP) server. Can somebody please tell me where to get this info?

Broadband, Virgin.

I am with Virgin, previously Telewest and the two I enter are pop3.blueyonder.co.uk & smtp.blueyonder.co.uk.
So try pop3.virgin.co.uk and smtp.virgin.co.uk.
Or pop3.ntl.co.uk etc.

Forgot to sya with the virgin one it may end in .com instead of .co.uk.

Thanks for that.I did, however , leave out an important fact. I use Incredimail as my default account and want that to remain as is, with the OE account as secondary. Is this possible?

Inbound server - pop3.blueyonder.co.uk

Outbound server - smtp.blueyonder.co.uk

If you were previously with NTL use:

Yes. You can tell Outlook Express to check more than one inbound server, but you must use your ISP's smtp server for sending all outbound messages.

When you set up OE it will ask you if you want to make it your main e-mail program, just tick no and click OK.
FE cheers I did not know the one for NTL.

If your account details are already set up in Incredimail then I would that the settings will be the same in Outlook Express. And you can use either email client to collect your messages.
