can i configure outlook express so that two people can use it with two different addresses and two inboxes , also can outlook express read mail from a yahoo account,

Yes but both will be able to access each others email unless you have user accounts set with username and passwords for logging in, if you have XP.

Yahoo can be configured in OE at a cost I believe though, if I'm wrong on that one then i'm sure somebody will put me right.

you can have others using outlook. Click on Tools, click on accounts , click on ADD,Mail, type in the detailsi.e. email address etc of the other person. You can also create an identity for the new person. Click on help and type in identity and this will give you the details on how to do it.

My main account is with Yahoo and I use OE for access.

Log onto your yahoo mail account and click on mail options you then want to click on "pop access and forwarding" it will tell everything you need to know on how to configure OE
