Outlook Dialogue Box

Just recently when ever I open Outlook 2000 a dialogue box with the following text appears:

An extension failed to initialise. Can't open the file: C|Documents and Settings\Dad\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\.... The file may not exist, you may not have permission to open it, or it may be open in another program. Right click the folder that contains the file, and then click Properties to check your permissions for the folder. You don't have appropriate permission to perform this operation.

I followed the the above and cannot find any permissions folder. Any help greatfully received.
