outlook delivery reports

I use Office XP with W7.
Until recently I requested and got delivery reports.
They have now stopped (in the last week or so) although I still get read receipts. I have tried repairing Outlook and reinstalling Office with no success.
Has anyone any other suggestions that will work?

Tools> Preferences> Email Options> Tracking Options> tick the boxes "Read Receipt" & "Delivery Receipt"

I was trying to point out that both boxes are and have been ticked but I now no longer get delivery receipts

Personally I dislike delivery reports. They achieve very little and as the above link states can get lost in spam filters, etc. If you are sending an important e-mail and you want to know if they have received it ask for an acknowledgement. But you probably will not get an acknowledgment reply from a company.
