Outlook Contacts - should I use sub-folders?

  Adelphos 11:19 06 Oct 05

I've not found a way to mail-merge from Outlook Contacts sub-folders. I can't make the mail-merge within Outlook or Word recognise the sub-folders, so had to transfer all data in a sub-folder to the main Outlook folder, then filter for the ones I wanted. If I transfer all my sub-folder contacts into the main Outlook folder it would make a very big folder.

Does anyone have any views on whether using Outlook sub-folders is sensible or whether it's better to have one huge folder?
