This isn't an answer to that question but there's a free Personal Information Manager called EssentialPIM (EPIM) that can run as many copies as you like. It has a Schedule/Calendar, Contacts, To-do and an excellent Notes section with a tree format. It can be password protected and also has a free portable version that's lie Outlook on a (USB) stick. There's a pro version as well for power users. It's also in colour and has a year view in Schedule/Calendar. I use it myself.

Oh yes, you can also import and export from Outlook, and sync with PocketPC and Palm. (And it's multi language.)

Outlook help states that you can create additional calendars and have one for your personal appointments.
