Hi all

I have replaced my ageing computer and am having trouble with Outlook 2000. Before I changed I backed up all the setting to a flash drive. I have tried to restore it. But I can only see all the enteries if the flash drive is present in the USB port. It takes ages to open. If it is not in place then Outlook just opens with nothing. How do I get the backup file to stay with Outlook. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Depending on how you backed up click here

Hi VoG
I used the backup utility which I downloaded ages ago. It backs up to the Disgo ok and opens when I ask it to but for some reason it wont stay on Outlook. Do you know where the files are stored on the computer perhaps I could copy them direct.

Have you tried the File > Import wizard?

Can you not restore the .pst files from the backup then import them into Outlook?
