Outlook 2010 & BCM

  Marko797 14:18 25 Aug 10

I've downloaded the Business Contact Manager for Outlook 2010, but when I try and run it, it gives me a message that says 'cannot retrieve list of SQL server instances' and asks that SQL 2005 or higher is installed and running.

I have checked in installed programs and I do have the SQL required, but don't know how to check if it is running.

Anyone have any ideas what the problem is?

On Win 7 64 bit and MS Office Professional Plus.

I simply gave up on MSO10. Far too complicated and went back to MSO2003

Type into a run box

then click OK. That will show services and indicate their status.

I couldn't get it to work, far too complex for what it might provide, but thnx for the input. I'll manage without it, like Hondaman, although will stay with 2010.
