Outlook 2003 problem

  RamUK 23:28 22 Aug 06

I have just installed Outlook 2003 on a Sony Vaio pc running XP. I am using Office 2000 software but wanted to upgrade to Outlook 2003. It has shed loads of memory etc

When I try and do an e-mail and click on the 'To' button to fill in the persons e-mail address I get this error message:

Can't Contact LDAP Directory server 81.

Then if I ok this away I can then find the address by using the drop down menu for showing names and navigating to Contacts.

Why is it defaulting to Active Directory and also, why when I click on Outlook Address is there nothing in there but all my addresses etc are under Contacts?
