Outlook 2003 ... "from" in a new email

  keewaa 17:37 12 Nov 05

I'm sure I used to be able to change which account a new email was being sent from by seeing the "From" field appear above the "To" field with a drop down arrow to change which account I was sending it from ... but I'm lost and can't find it ..... how do I get this "From" to appear so I can choose which of my email accounts it is coming from?

The Accounts button gives a dropdown list of your accounts.

Thanks, but is there a way of showing the from field while I compose the message?

Also I am using Business Account manager with Outlook but it really slows it down when opening and was wondering if I can temporarily disable the Business Accounts Manager when I don't need it?

Found it! View | From Field.

But it doesn't seem to do anything useful.

I just click the Accounts button and pick an address then Outlook displays

This message will be sent from VoG™

near the top of the window.

Thanks ... options ....
Yea I hadn't named the accounts right but I can do that or it's easy just to have the from as a quick check it's from the correct account.
