Hi all,

I use Outlook 2003 as my email programme and am having issues with it hanging up since I have set up various IMAP email accounts and for Outlook to download these emails into the folder list. Downloading POP emails are fine its just IMAP.

I have looked on Gmail and MS for a work around but cant find anything so I now ask you knowledgebale lot.

If you have experienced this and know of a work around then please let me know.

Thanks in advance

Are all of your IMAP accounts downloading into their own separate Inbox folders?

Yes, each IMAP account has its own folder with sub folders within.

How many IMAP accounts do you have? When Outlook is first opened each one has to sync and download the latest e-mails. The sync could be taking time.

I have four IMAP accounts set up and one POP account.

Are there a large number of e-mails in each IMAP account?
