Outlook 2003 Email Archive Question

  PhiltheFragger 19:50 06 Sep 09

I have a customer who is a solicitor and he had a massive PST file which is slowing Outlook 2003 down and is in danger of going over the 2gb limit and risking corruption.

I am aware of the Outlook Archive utility so I can archive stuff to a separate PST file, put that on removable media etc, the problem comes when he has to refer back to an email and we have to import the whole archive to read it.

Is there a better way?

any software that does the job better than Outlook
This must be a common problem in business.
Any help much appreciated

I archive mine to the existing hard drive, they are compressed so will take up far less space
