OS dissapeared from boot option

hi I set up my desktop with two HDD's the primary partitioned with Win 7 on one and XP on the other, the second HDD I installed Ubuntu. On boot up I was always given the choice of theses 3 o/s this worked fine for months, recently the ubuntu option has disappeared leaving only win 7 and xp, When I check the HD it shows that there is ubuntu iso present. some advice please. regards

Sounds like you have the "fly killer" virus, run your AV.

The quick & dirty fix is to re install ubuntu - take note to load bootloader onto disk 0

A slightly more technical fix is to search for "SuperGrub" download and burn it to a cd and boot from it and repair Grub.
