Order of Maintenance?

Following the advice of many on this forum I have the following installed:
AdAware
Spybot
AVG Antivirus
Microsoft Antispyware
CCleaner
RegSeeker
I run these every few days and follow up every other week or so with a defrag.
Each time I wonder if there is an optimal order to run the applications e.g. AdAware and Spybot might make changes to the registry so should they be run before RegSeeker? - you get my drift. I'm sure there's no big problem however I run them but I would be interested in what other forum members do.

.

but for what it is worth my routine is

- malware scanners*

- disk cleanyp

- registry cleaner (RegscrubXP)

- defrag (Diskeeper).

* I only run these if I suspect that I have a nasty or when there have been updates.

best to clean your registry first the rest can be run in any order

And don't forget that if you're running an Operating System (such as XP) with System Restore to disable System Restore before doing your maintenance/housekeeping.

This ensures that any nasties caught in memory between restore points will be removed by your AV and anti-malware programs.

I'll check this as resolved as I am away from my PC for several days..boo-hoo...but I will check back on my return. Thanks to those who replied.
