Orange Livebox Security

A silly question probably. I've installed an Orange Livebox with a wired connection to my PC, and it works fine.

I have not installed a wireless adaptor because it would be redundant - I only use the single PC.

Is the Livebox still emitting a wireless signal to my neighbours, which I have obviously not secured? Or does the wired connection stop any wireless transmission?

I've tried the Orange helpline and I've not got a clear answer.

Yes, but nobody will be able to connect to it.
If you'd rather it was disabled, go into the Livebox configuration - se the shortcut link for the Livebox which should be on your desktop;

Thanks Brundle

I've disconnected the Wireless LAN as suggested. No problems.

Maybe I missed this option in the Livebox setup. If not, I think Orange could include it to put users' minds at rest.
