Orange as ISP

  fredie 17:58 23 Apr 07

My ISP is orange home and I am using their livebox. I can only get my POP3 email working in outlook express. I would like to use Microsoft Outlook, however at the moment it will only receive emails. When I talk to orange they say they only support outlook express. Does anyone know a fix ao that I can use Outlook. Thank you.

Have you made Outlook the default email client.

When you say that Outlook will only receive emails, do you mean that it will not send them?

If so, enter the smtp server details that is in Outlook Express in the relevant part of the account.

Failing that, give more details of what is the problem you have.

Your server maybe something like
same for the smtp settings, though you may need to change to wanadoo or freeserve, there has been a few account changes in recent months.
