optimize or performance

Hi can anybody tell me what is best i have a hard drive C and my removable drive on F the question is what setting is best for each of these drives optimize for quick removal or optimize for performance thanks Chippy

I think it makes no noticeable difference either way.

Well as for the C: drive give it a good clean up with Ccleaner and remove any junk files such as temp files, then run the error checking thingy and finally give it a good defrag.

That should make it a little better for performance.

As for the F: drive, if its just used for backing stuff up now and then,
Then just give it a good error check and defrag and make sure to check you back up regularly.
